Faith No More are busy touring ahead of their first album in eighteen years, Sol Invictus, due out next month; and their Seattle stop at The Paramount Theatre proves that the boys still have it. Lead singer Mike Patton used the mic in interesting ways (at one point putting the whole thing in his mouth) as the band soldiered through songs old and new. SMI contributing photographer Bill Bungard stalked the band through hedges of flowers placed at the foot of the stage – see the fruits of his labors below.

Seattle has been blessed with a few musical St Valentine's gifts that will keep on giving. None brighter than The Chris Poage Band's new masterpiece 'Bad Weather'.
We will dive deeper into detail and this story in the days to come. A solo artist like Chris is many ways a ring leader of sorts. A talisman that inspires his tree to be dressed with the genius that befits him, and these are the holiday gifts that lay at our feet.
Making an animation of any music video is no small feat, and we at SMI are proud to help him tell this story. Send us more music to premier or just pass along.

This was Big Business at Tony V's Garage last night. Everett Music Initiative helped present a hard hitting evening of absolute rock.
Songwriter and one man band extraordinaire Jeremy "Steel Beans" Dibardi was convinced to take some air from his secret Everett studio lair to shoot these photos for SMI.
Rumor has it Steel Beans is among the artists being announced for Fisherman's Village Music Festival this year at their announcement party Feb 28th. But that cannot be confirmed nor denied.
