SMI has several contributors with various journalism and music backgrounds who cover artists appearing at various venues around the Northwest. SMI’s content includes live reviews, new music previews, artist spotlights, artist and venue features, new music previews and live previews, as well as exclusive artist interviews. In addition, several photographers provide content for rich photo slideshows that accompany a majority of our live reviews.

SMI’s philosophy is that music builds community, and that music is the universal language. We believe it has the power to unite people of ever race, religion, gender, and persuasion.

It is our desire to provide rich digital content using a variety of mediums, and to be a valued resource to music lovers – not only in the Northwest – but around the world.
