Xander Deccio is an internationally published, award-winning photographer and blogger. His work has been featured in the likes of such publications as Buzznet, AMP Magazine, Hails and Horns, Townsquare Media, and Alternative Press just to name a few.

Originally starting out as an artist/photographer, his mentor and good friend Island Jenn talked him into shooting shows. It was then that he got approved to shoot one of his favorite bands, Social Distortion. After that, he was hooked. He was then asked to join Back Beat Seattle, and for 2 years, he built up his portfolio, then decided to freelance.

He has photographed Dave Matthews Band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stone Temple Pilots, Muse, Motorhead, Jane’s Addiction, and Social Distortion.

He also works as the house photographer for The Seasons Performance Hall in Yakima, Washington. Deccio blogs for Townsquare Media and Buzznet, discussing his favorite albums and even covering his guilty pleasure, American Idol.

When he’s not working, he’s spending time with his wife Janice and their three “furry kids.”
