Timmy Held is the guitarist/vocalist for Ellensburg, Washington’s Tyrannosaurus Grace and is the co-founder of Fake Label Records (along with Justin Foss, also of T. Grace). Timmy is on the scene on the eastern side of the Mountains and will be contributing his passion and writing talents for live reviews. Timmy also plans on covering some shows in Western Washington and providing reviews and recaps for those shows as well.

About Timmy’s projects…

Tyrannosaurus Grace: What started in 2009 as an “over the Internet” collaboration between Justin Foss (guitar/keys/producer) then located in Portland, OR, and Timmy Held (vocals/guitar/keys) who was in Kalamazoo MI at the time, has now flourished into a five piece rock-driven pop/punk/synth powerhouse based out of Ellensburg Washington. With the addition of David Hoffman (drums), Jeff Gerrer (bass) and the lovely Lakyn Bury (vocals/guitar/keys) T. Grace has become one of the most exciting bands to see out of the 3 that are based in Ellensburg.

Fake Label Records: The name pretty much sums it up. FLR is not really even a record label in the technical sense. It started as a joke when T. grace independently released their self-titled debut album on “Fake Label Records”. And while T. grace will continue to release all of their work on FLR it will also serve as a promotional machine for Northwest Independent Artists. One of the main functions of FLR is to provide album reviews for local bands that Timmy and Justin like as well as release annual compilation albums featuring their favorite Northwest bands to play with and listen to. Maybe, just maybe someday they will have the means to sign another band.
