Covering music and the artists that create and perform it is just part of what we do here. Every great artist has an amazing story but those that cover our vibrant scene are also part of the story and help contribute to making our scene the envy of many across the globe.

For ten years the good folks at Three Imaginary Girls have been doing their thing their way, covering some of the best local, national and global artists throughout the Northwest. However, there is nothing imaginary about the positive impact and value that they have added to the music community here.

This Friday, June 1st they will celebrate their history with a 10 year anniversary Karaoke bash at Chop Suey up on “The Hill” and will be hosted by imaginary Dana and Adrian LeFluer (of Iron Composer fame.)

The star-studded affair will include some roof raising, fun inducing and mesmerizing Karaoke artistry from the likes of : Sean NelsonLesli WoodMegan SelingJenny JimenezShane TutmarcAlicia AmiriCristina BautistaAnna Banana LangeJenny George  as well as members of: VisqueenThe Young EvilsExohxoTullycraftMath & Physics ClubTennis ProMal de MerBlack Nite CrashKithkinThe ManglesYour Favorite BookNoddyWe Wrote the Book on Connectors.

The singers will be chosen on a first come first serve basis, so you may want to get there early to turn in your song request. Doors open at 8:30pm.

But wait, there’s more…

Before you got your laptops, iPads, Nooks or Kindles and decided to journey into the digital domain, do you remember the good old days of paper periodicals? Those of you that relish the feel of paper and turning pages can attend the show and be the first to pick up a copy the Imaginary Zine. The TIG gang are doin’ it old school with a printed magazine recounting their first 10 years in stories and memories from their imaginary friends. It will have a special screen-printed cover (compliments of Seattle Show Posters / 112 Print works!) and a cd full of rare, live, or exclusive tracks by some of their favorite local artists, including The Long Winters, BOAT, Exohxo, The Femurs, Tullycraft and much, much more.
