After a a long hiatus, Fall Out Boy are back on the scene with a brand new disc, the brazenly titled Save Rock and Roll. If  Rock and Roll does need saving, I am not so sure that Fall Out Boy are the outfit to come to rock’s rescue. That said, The boys have put together a more mature and ambitious new record. (Courtney Love makes a guest appearance on the number, “Rat A Tat”. )

Fallout Boy returned to the Emerald City this past Wednesday (6/19/13) in support of the new LP and put on a spirited performance at the sold out Showbox SoDo. (New Politics opened for the  group.) Based on the band’s solid and energetic performance. Rock and Roll certainly is not dead and neither is Fall Out Boy.
