Fans of hip hop braved the chilly fall evening and potential rain to make their way to the Grandstand Arena at the Washington State Fair to see veteran rapper Ice Cube.
The Fair, as it is affectionately known as here in the Pacific Northwest, is back this year after having taken the previous year off due to the pandemic. Things look a little different this year as The Fair takes precautions for public health, but the animals, food, and rides are all happening again.
In front of a near capacity and very diverse crowd, Ice Cube performed many fan favorites as well as getting his set started with a new track that will be coming from his forthcoming album. Many a fan in either their Ice Cube or NWA attire were having a great time as the man himself performed tracks from his nearly four-decade career in the flesh.
Getting the evening started was R&B artist Ginuwine.
Contributor Mike Baltierra was on hand to capture the first few songs of each set and share the visual with us. Please enjoy this gallery and re-live the magic with us!
