Counting Crows kicked off Maryhill Winery’s 2013 summer concert series with a near sold out show. Frontman Adam Duritz and company delivered a solid set, bringing The Wallflowers (fronted by Jakob Dylan) with them to co/headline this tour. The band also had a stop at Woodinville’s Chateau Ste Michele winery the following night.

I had the opportunity to shoot them a few years ago at Maryhill, but had to pass it up due to a scheduling conflict. This time, I wasn’t going to pass it up and I’m glad I didn’t. Both bands were amazing live and the concert goers in attendance from both Washington and Oregon (yes its near the border of both states) were having a blast. If you have never been to a concert at Maryhill, you owe it to yourself to check out this little slice of heaven.
