Going to Bumbershoot this weekend? So is Seattle Music Insider! With 6 stages of live music happening over the three day weekend, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Kudos to the Bumbershoot organizers for putting this all together year after year. Also note that there will not be any events located inside Key Arena this year. There will be, however, two stages located in Memorial Stadium. TWO stages! Mainstage and Endzone stage. Here is a list of bands that are a must see. But remember, this is only a partial list. Starbucks Stage: This is the stage for you jazz fans. Evan Flory-Barnes + Infinity Upright!, McTuff, and Gregory Porter. Also check out Naomi Wachira and Mavis Staples.
Fisher Green Stage: Fly Moon Royalty, Big Freedia, The Afghan Whigs

SMI partner Melodic Caring Project will be streaming The Head and The Heart show live to children battling serious illness. SMI Founder Greg Roth will be hosting the stream along with MCP Founder Levi Ware.

Pavilion Stage: Smokey Brights, Julianna Barkwick. USC Events Presents: Audioh, Gravity Lift, Johnny Monsoon, Myron & Shane 54 In addition to all the music, there are 6 other stages/locations of comedy, theatre, and film happening all weekend long.
Keep your eyes open as comedy great Janeane Garofalo and many others will be performing at Bumbershoot all three days.
You might even check out 1 Reel’s Film Festival happening as well! Bumbershoot 2014 will be a wonderful mix of all that makes Seattle special. EDM, Jazz, Alt, Rock, Rap. Whatever you do, check out some new bands and continue to support live music!
