After a whirlwind summer, zig-zagging across the US, Warped Tour made one of its final stops this summer at White River Amphitheatre earlier this month. Select bands performed at various stops on their respective legs – some of the biggest names being New Found Glory, Yellowcard, and Sleeping with Sirens. In total, 74 bands graced seven stages throughout this particular afternoon in Auburn, melting faces in the sun.
The heat of the day was intense, registering at 95+ degrees at various spots around the venue. When asked, some of the behind the scenes crew actually said that that day was quite pleasant compared to other dates on the tour. No rain, no wind, and no temperatures over one hundred: all things that they’d endured throughout the summer.
Warped Tour officially wrapped up on August 13, and many bands took to their social media pages the very next day to announce their upcoming tours. Some will be bringing headlining shows through our area at multiple venues before the end of the year. Yellowcard, in particular, announced that this fall they will be touring one last time before the band parts ways and will play at The Showbox on October 26.
