Lords Of Acid Sells Out Showbox

Belgium’s Lords of Acid, have been entertaining crowds now for more than three decades, and continue to sell out shows around the globe, including their show this past weekend at Seattle’s iconic Showbox.

Their current 35 city tour, “Make Acid Great Again“, is their first full tour in more than four years, (last here in Seattle in 2019). To mark the occasion, fans dressed up and some were barely dressed. Showing off an array of high heels, combat boots, leather, lace, metal and a whole lot of exposed skin, the band entertained the crowd with their erotic lyrics and stage show performing an enormous seventeen song set. LOA‘s seventh studio album, Acid Reign, is expected later this year.

This tour also marked the return of LOA‘s frontman, Praga Khan, with his other band, (aptly named Praga Khan– perhaps most known for their song Mortal Combat, written for the video game back in the early 90’s). He hadn’t performed with that configuration live in the US for more than twenty years. Outlaw pop artist, Devora, was the opener for this leg of the tour.
